We understand that every resident is unique with individual care requirements, wishes and desires. We recognise that residents with nursing needs require care that not only reflects their medical needs, but that also reflects their physical, psychological, emotional and social abilities.
We provide 24 hour nursing care, delivering professional, friendly, kind and compassionate care and support to residents with significant and complex medical conditions.
Our staff work closely with residents involving them in care planning and decisions regarding the running of the home. This empowers them and ensures that the service reflects the needs and wishes of the residents living within the home. Families and loved ones are also involved in this process where this is agreed by the resident.
Our residents reside in a carefully designed, comfortable environment which provides a choice of social areas. Bedrooms filter into the social areas and promote a homely experience. Residents may choose to relax peacefully within the cafe, bar, dementia gardens or their own bedroom, sit with friends in the lounge or dining room or spend time in the other social and seated areas throughout the home.
We recognise the importance of residents maintaining their links with the community and offer residents support and encouragement to engage in a range of activities designed to address their hobbies and interests, both within the home and the community.
It is our belief that high quality care is delivered by highly trained and knowledgeable staff. We invest positively in staff training and development to ensure that residents receive care and support that reflects current best practice in a manner that promotes their rights, choice and preferences.
